Makeup Trends for Spring 2017

It’s still a while off yet, but we know we aren’t the only ones who want to see the makeup trends that Spring 2017 might have to offer.

Of course, the catwalks showed lots of bare-faced beauties sporting the “naked”, “no-makeup” makeup trends that the rest of us can’t quite pull off, but there were exceptions to the rule even in Paris. Here are our favourites:


Smokey Eye, Balmain (

The Daily Mail quoted that the makeup look portrayed by Ellie Saab modelled on Hailey Baldwin was “a little bit rock ‘n’ roll”, and we are in love with it. We think a nude lip to contrast against black smokey eyes and bronze contouring is consistently flattering and timeless.

Glitter is another look that was seen across all the fashion capitals from Fendi, DKNY, Versace and Giamba. We were particularly mesmerised by Fendi’s glitter lips, seen on the Hadid sisters, paired with winged eyes.
